The Jaguar E-Type has been claimed as one of the ‘sexiest’ cars of all time and that’s a pretty good reason to get behind the wheel of this classic roadster even if it’s just for one day! Our 1969, Series II Jaguar is sure to make you the envy of every driver on the road!

The classic Jaguar E-Type is the World’s most desirable sports car! Pick up any classic car book and read why ‘Jaguar’s E-Type was the sexiest motor car ever launched’ and how it became a byword for glamour and style. E-Types look great in photos, but even better in the flesh!

You will be able to pick up the Jaguar E-Type the night before your hire day to give you the maximum time to enjoy this motoring icon.

On arrival at our pick up location (or by arrangement, an agreed pick up point more convenient to you) we will present you with your classic car hire document pack for the day. This pack includes a history of the car you’ll be driving, some suggested routes to drive during your day, as well as the more formal documents that we’ll need to complete with you.

You’ll then spend some time with us going over some of the individual features of the car to make sure that you are comfortable driving it, before heading off. After that, you’ll be left to enjoy driving the classic car (although feel free to call with any questions) before returning it to the pick up point the next day.

Through its development, the Jaguar E-Type had an incredible racing pedigree to build on. In the 1950’s, Jaguar virtually owned Le Mans with its C and D-Type racers. It was the latter that the E-Type was to be the successor to, not for racing, but to be the World’s best road-going sports car to replace the XK series of cars.

Our car is a midnight blue, 1969 Series ll Roadster and is simply a beautiful car – we’re sure you’ll agree!

Guidelines:

Drivers must be over 25 years and have held an acceptable drivers license for over 2 years to drive the car and comply with our standard terms and conditions. A security deposit of $1000 is required on a valid credit card to cover insurance excess and bond.

Numbers:

The Jaguar can accommodate up to 2 people (a driver and a passenger). The number of passengers including the driver must not exceed the manufactures stated capacity.

Weather:

In the event of adverse weather which, in our view, could cause damage to the E-Type, we will offer you an alternative hire date for the vehicle.

Session Length:

Vehicle hire is valid for one day (24 hours). Please book at least 2 weeks in advance. All bookings are subject to availability. Please note: the weekend and weekday rate is the same.

Extra Info:

The cost of vehicle hire is fully inclusive except for the cost of fuel. You will be required to return the vehicle with a full tank of fuel. The security deposit will require available funds of $1000. You will be required to accept and sign our terms and conditions on the day of hire.

This experience voucher is valid for six months from date of purchase.
