If the Jaguar E-Type is the world’s most desirable sports car, then the MGB is perhaps the world’s most recognizable classic car. Hire our 1965 MGB for a day and experience what a joy these classic cars are to drive with their great looks, tight handling and distinguishable MG sound!

With just over 500,000 MGB’s built, they are definitely a classic car all with a personality of their own! You will be able to pick up the MGB the night before your car hire day in order to give you the maximum time to get acquainted with this beautiful motor car.

On arrival at our pick up location (or by arrangement, an agreed pickup point more convenient to you) we will present you with your classic car hire document pack for the day. This pack includes a history of the car you’ll be driving, some suggested routes to drive during your day, as well as the more formal documents that we’ll need to complete with you.

You’ll then spend some time with us going over some of the individual features of your classic car to make sure that you are comfortable driving it, before heading off. After that, you’ll be left to enjoy driving the car (although feel free to call with any questions) before returning it to the pick-up point the next day.

Over 500,000 MGBs were produced from when production started in 1962 until it finally ceased in 1980. Whilst there were a number of variations to the model through this time, MGBs fundamentally remained unchanged. This fact along with production volumes and popularity of the car means that there is a support base around the world that many modern automotive manufacturers would be proud of. It also means that you’ll be amazed at the number of smiles and waves that you get when you’re driving!

Guidelines:

Drivers must be over 25 years and have held an acceptable drivers license for over 2 years to drive the car and comply with our standard terms and conditions. A security deposit of $1000 is required on a valid credit card to cover insurance excess and bond.

Numbers:

The MGB can accommodate up to 2 people (a driver and a passenger). The number of passengers including the driver must not exceed the manufactures stated capacity.

Weather:

In the event of adverse weather which, in our view, could cause damage to the MGB, we will offer you an alternative hire date for the vehicle.

Session Length:

Vehicle hire is valid for one day (24 hours). Please book at least 2 weeks in advance. All bookings are subject to availability. Please note: the weekend and weekday rate is the same.

Extra Info:

The cost of vehicle hire is fully inclusive except for the cost of fuel. You will be required to return the vehicle with a full tank of fuel. The security deposit will require available funds of $1000. You will be required to accept and sign our terms and conditions on the day of hire.

This experience voucher is valid for six months from date of purchase.
