Experience the ultimate encounter with the forces of water on this full day white water rafting adventure. White water rafting is Victoria’s greatest adventure activity. It is a must-do event and is perfect for a team building adventure or fun day out with some friends. So don’t miss out!

Rapids, anyone? White water rafting at its best! The Mitta Mitta River is considered to be one of the best rafting venues that Victoria has to offer. Winding through a deep gully, it features plenty of drops and rapids, some graded at levels three and four.

Upon arrival you and your team will be given a safety briefing. You will then be fitted with safety gear which you will wear for the duration of the trip. Then it’s off and away! You’ll be battling the white water and plunging down breathtaking drops. ‘Pinball’, ‘Graveyard’ and ‘Dislocation’ are the names of only a few of our unforgettable rapids!

A gourmet picnic is provided for lunch, which you will enjoy on the beautiful banks on the Mitta Mitta River. While you sit back, relax and catch your breath, you will take in the beautiful Australian bushland through which the Mitta Mitta flows.

Then it’s off again to battle with the rapids and continue on your exhilarating adventure down the river. Our rafts hold 4-6 people so you will have to work with your friends or colleagues to paddle simultaneously and navigate the raft in between rocks and currents, an experience which will only add to the fun.

The upcoming white water rafting season promises water levels at their peak, which is the best condition for this white water rafting experience, classified as ‘high adventure’.

It’s a wonderful day out amongst the beautiful Victorian wilderness, filled with excitement, action and, most importantly, loads of screaming white water rafting fun!

Please note: This experience is available for bookings from September – December ONLY.

Venue:

Omeo, Victoria – approximately four hours north-east of Melbourne. Return transfers from Melbourne are available at an extra cost.

Availability & Duration:

This experience is a full day in duration. It is available for bookings seven days per week from September to December ONLY (or as water levels permit). Please book at least two weeks in advance.

Guidelines:

Participants must be over the age of 14 years, those participants under 18 years of age need a written permission from a parent or legal guardian. You need to have a reasonable level of fitness and be confident in the water. Due to safety concerns this programme is not suitable for buck’s parties.

Numbers:

The price quoted is for 10 people. Each raft carries 4 – 6 people plus a guide. We are able to cater for larger groups – please contact us for further information.

Weather:

This experience may be affected by the weather. In the case of poor conditions, we may cancel your experience and reschedule for a later date. All cancellations are at our discretion.
