What is the Experience?

You can play it in your car or in the comfort of your home. It helps to de-stress and it evokes a sense of calm. Enhance your understanding of classical music with this behind the scenes exclusive experience which will deepen your appreciation of just what it takes to produce a classical CD!

Your host for this experience is the beautiful Ambre Hammond, a classical concert pianist who is tipped as one of the fastest rising stars in the Australian classical music industry.

Ambre is exceptionally talented; having begun piano studies with her mother at the age of 3, and staging her first concert aged 5. She achieved a world record at 12 when she received the Associate and Licentiate Diplomas of music in the same year.

Ambre has performed with the SBS Youth Orchestra, Australian Chamber Orchestra, Fribourg Youth Orchestra (Switzerland), Cordoba Symphony Orchestra (Argentina) and in 2005 will make her UK orchestral debut with the Orchestra of the City in London. In 2006/07 Ambre will take part in the World Premier of the Double Concerto by Lalo Schifrin written especially for James Morrison and Ambre Hammond with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra.

Ambre will allow you the exclusive privilege of being a guest to sit in and listen to her perform some of the most beautiful piano Concertos, Sonatas and Rhapsodies ever written. Whether she is performing with a full orchestra or solo, you will be watching and hearing history in the making.

This experience includes:

A meet and greet with Ambre herself, during which she will share with you her experience and passion and what she is going to be recording during your sitting.
The opportunity to sit in the studio and listen as the piece/s are recorded in real time.
A two-course lunch at a nearby restaurant. Ambre may join you and provide you with a further opportunity to find out more about the life of a concert pianist.
You may then return to the studio, but only if further recording is to take place.
