Take a closer look at the habitats of our amazing and unique Australian wildlife as you explore behind the scenes of Taronga Zoo. From kangaroos and wallabies to wombats and echidnas, this tour is an informative and interesting look at Australia’s unique fauna!

Get ready to see Taronga Zoo like you’ve never seen before!

On the day of your behind the scenes zoo tour, we’ll pick you up from your hotel or accommodation in the Sydney CBD and transport you in our luxury vehicle for your behind the scenes experience at the Zoo.

Once you arrive, you’ll embark on a journey of discovery on this exclusive tour of the Zoo’s unique Australian animal collection. This behind the scenes tour offers an informative introduction to Australia’s unusual wildlife, guided by an official zoo keeper and includes excellent photographic opportunities with kangaroos, wallabies, birds, wombats and echidnas, as well as over 200 animals in the Wollemi exhibit.

The variety of animal life is simply astounding and you’ll leave the Zoo with a renewed appreciation for our animals!

At the end of the tour, you’ll be escorted back to your luxury vehicle and chauffeured back to your Sydney accommodation in comfort after an insightful and enthralling experience at the Zoo!

Where & When
Suitability & Guidelines

Venue:

We will collect you from your accommodation in the Sydney CBD, NSW. If you are not staying in CBD we can meet you at the Zoo.

Session Length

We operate 7 days a week starting at 9am, all year round (excluding Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve and New Years Day. Please allow 2 - 3 hours for your experience.
