A sunrise balloon flight over Melbourne is a truly remarkable experience, and you can make this even more memorable by booking an exclusive flight.

On the morning of your flight we will pick you up from your city hotel approximately 30 minutes before first light. Your pilot will give you a short briefing and you'll be transported to the launch site where you may help with the launch or stand back and take pictures. Then it's up and away, just the two of you and your pilot in the basket of the balloon, drifting gently over the city of Melbourne.

There is certainly no better way to take in Australia's second largest city. In the early morning light you will drift over the patchwork of parks and gardens that make Melbourne such a beautiful city. As the suburbs come to life you will look down on some of the city's iconic sporting venues like the MCG, Melbourne Park and Albert Park racetrack.

Your flight lasts for approximately 60 minutes and during this time you will share a bottle of Chandon sparkling to add to the romance and magic.

After we make our landing, you and your special someone will head back to a five-star city hotel for a private champagne breakfast.

Venue:

Melbourne CBD.

Session Length

Flights operate daily, subject to weather conditions and availability. We meet at the launch site 30 minutes before first light - exact time confirmed the evening before your flight. Your flight will be approximately 60 minutes, and you should allow several hours for the entire experience.

Guidelines:

Minimum fitness level required. Passengers need to be able to climb into the basket and stand for the hour’s flight. You must inform us of any medical conditions that may preclude you flying e.g. back problems. Not suitable for women who are more than 12 weeks pregnant.

Numbers:

The price quoted is for two people. This is a very special exclusive hot air balloon flight so it will be just the two of you and your pilot!

Weather:

In the case of windy, wet miserable weather the flight may be cancelled at the pilot's discretion. Flights are usually confirmed the night before your experience.
