Realise your dreams and take control of the helicopter! During your helicopter trial instructional flight, your instructor will be by your side to assist you to control the helicopter. This 30 minute flight is a once in a lifetime opportunity for any aviation enthusiast or budding pilot!

This helicopter training flight is one for the adventurist or those keen on how to fly a helicopter!

Before you get a chance to take control of the helicopter, you'll watch a 40 minute video briefing on how a helicopter flies, the controls, and what you will be expected to do during your flight. Remember this flight is a hands on experience!

After the briefing, we then take you for a 30 minute helicopter flight where you actually manipulate the controls in forward flight and in the hover positions. After that we demonstrate some low flying and show you what happens when the engine stops.

This experience is perfect for any aviation enthusiast!

PLEASE NOTE: A small fuel levy of approximately $5 (the cost fluctuates depending on the season) is payable on the day directly to the supplier on the day of your experience.

Guidelines:

Perfect for any aviation enthusiast! You should be at least 16 years of age to participate in this experience. A maximum weight limit of 100kg also applies.

Numbers:

This experience is for one person. You will be flying with an instructor.

Weather:

This experience is affected by the weather. In the case of poor conditions, we will reschedule your experience for a later date.

Session Length:

Please allow up to 1.5 hours for your experience. This includes a 40 minute briefing and a 30 minute helicopter flight. PLEASE NOTE: This experience is NOT available on Sundays.
