Cruise the spectacular waterways on a magical journey through the beautiful Noosa River, lakes and everglades region of Queensland. An incredible opportunity to photograph the abundant wildlife in its natural habitat and take in scenery of overwhelming beauty.

This river cruise trip can be taken as a full day cruise meeting at 8.30am at Noosaville Jetty or if you'd prefer later start, you can depart by vehicle at 10am to Boreen Point to join up with the cruise boat and continue the safari.

The Cooloola Queen offers an upper deck not only for viewing the spectacular scenery but also a great place to enjoy the cool breezes of these tranquil waterways. Informative commentary will provide information about the waterways, the history and the region.

Enjoy a BBQ lunch at Harry’s Hut picnic site with a superb selection of meat, fish, fresh salads, crusty bread and a glass of wine. You may like to enjoy a swim before returning to the boat for your return trip home at approximately 4.30pm.

The Cruise boat provides comfortable coach style seating, bathroom facilities, wheelchair access an experienced skipper and friendly hostess who will serve morning and afternoon tea. The boat also holds a full liquor licence. This safari is suitable for families, couples, singles or groups.

There may be up to 48 other people on the cruise boat.

The cruise is a great experience in all types of weather. The boat has an upper deck for those who enjoy the outdoors and a fully enclosed cabin for the Noosa showers!

Session Length:

The experience will last a full day from 8.30am – 4.30pm or for a shorter alternative from 10am – 4.30pm. The safari operates Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays. Other days available on request for groups.
