A Safari experience like no other, taking in the largest sand mass in the world. What better way to explore this amazing landscape than by cruising along the Noosa River and Lakes in comfort followed by some beach and bush 4WD along the endless shores.

Your day begins at 8.30am meeting at the Noosaville jetty to board the cruise boat which will take you along the beautiful Noosa River, lakes and the magical everglades.

The morning will be spent cruising the tranquil and unspoilt waterways giving you an excellent opportunity to photograph the wonderful scenery and wildlife. A BBQ lunch will be served at Harry's Hut picnic site with a superb selection of meat, fish, fresh salads, crusty bread and a glass of wine. You may like to enjoy a swim at this spot.

After lunch climb aboard the luxury 4x4 vehicle and enjoy the natural rainforest, bushland and eucalyptus forest, the Carlo Sandblow, Rainbow Beach, Double Island Point, the Cherry Venture shipwreck, Red Canyon and the renowned Coloured Sand Cliffs on your return trip to Noosaville. Morning and afternoon tea is served by the onboard hostess.

The vehicles will return by approximately 4.30pm. Due to tidal conditions the safari may operate in reverse.

Availability & Duration:

The experience will last a full day from 8.30am till 4.30pm. The safari operates Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays. Other days available on request for groups.

Guidelines:

The Cruise boat provides comfortable coach style seating, bathroom facilities, wheelchair access an experienced skipper and friendly hostess who will serve morning and afternoon tea. The boat also holds a full liquor licence. This safari is suitable for families, couples, singles or groups.

Numbers:

This package is for 2 people however there may be up to 18 others on the safari. The group will be split into smaller groups to travel in the 4x4 vehicles.

Weather:

The Everglades and the Coloured sands are a great experience in all types of weather. The boat has an upper deck for those who enjoy the outdoors and a fully enclosed cabin for the Noosa showers!
