Scuba Diving Course - Introductory Dive Day

What is the Experience?

Ever wanted to learn to scuba dive? Don't wait any longer to explore the spectacular reefs of the Great Barrier Reef - enrol in this scuba diving course introductory dive day! Your qualified PADI dive instructor will show you how to scuba dive so you can discover the spectacular life under the sea!

Absolutely no experience is necessary to learn how to SCUBA dive. If you've ever wanted to learn to dive, then this could be the perfect opportunity.

Whilst travelling to the reef, your PADI Dive Instructor will take you through a Discover Scuba Diving Brief highlighting all safety and skills. You will then practice your skills both on the boat and in the water before being taken on a 30-40 minute dive with your Instructor to explore spectacular coral reefs.

PLEASE NOTE: There is an additional charge of $5 per person payable on the day (additional charge) to cover the Environmental Management Charge.

Suitability & Guidelines

Venue:

Port Douglas, Queensland - a 1 hour drive north of Cairns.

Session Length

We operate every day of the year (subject to availability), except Christmas Day. This experience is a full day in duration. We depart the Marina at 9am and return at 4.30pm. You can expect to spend 4.5 - 5 hours on the reef.

Guidelines:

Asthma and some other medical conditions will prevent you from diving without a Queensland Dive Medical. For more information please contact us. This experience includes snorkeling and 1 introductory dive.

Numbers:

We operate with a maximum of 65 people on the boat at any one time. All dives are guided in small groups.

Weather:

In the case of poor weather, we will reschedule your experience for a later date.
