Get ready to put your driving skills through the ringer as you undertake an advanced car control course! Learn how to control your vehicle in a multitude of situations and we’re sure you’ll come out of this driver training with a renewed sense of confidence in your driving skills!

Experience a driver training course that is designed for drivers who want to take their driving skills to the highest level. The Advanced Car Control Course gives you the opportunity to push a little harder, learn more technical and advanced vehicle dynamics, and explore ‘high end’ vehicle control skills at the critical limit, but in a safe and non threatening environment.

During the advanced car control course, you can expect to cover the following topics:

  • An in depth analysis of the physical skills; seating, steering, vision, braking, accelerating and the use of transmission,
  • Advanced vehicle dynamics theory,
  • Practical advanced vehicle dynamics,
  • Highway speed emergency braking for both ABS and non ABS,
  • Highway speed emergency corner braking in both wet and dry,
  • Evasive lane changes,
  • Understeer / oversteer causes, control, and prevention, and
  • Emergency multiple direction changes.

This course requires concentration and commitment right up to the last minute, but best of all its great fun!

Please Note: You will be required to bring your own vehicle on the day.

Venue:

Springvale, Melbourne – approximately 35 minutes south east of the Melbourne CBD.

Guidelines:

You must provide your own vehicle and hold a current driver’s license (a provisional license is okay) which must be brought on the day of your experience.

Numbers:

The price quoted is for one person. There will be up to 20 people in the classroom sessions and up to 10 drivers per practical driving group.

Weather:

In extreme weather conditions such as heavy rain, we may be required to cancel the experience. In the event that your experience is cancelled, we will reschedule for a later date. Please call the supplier to confirm that status of the training day if you are in any doubt regarding the weather.

Session Length:

Courses are conducted approximately every 6 – 8 weeks and are usually held on a Saturday or Sunday. This is a full day course, commencing at 8.30am and finishing at approximately 4pm. Please book in advance. All bookings are subject to availability.

Extra Info:

You will be required to sign an indemnity form prior to participating in the practical component of the course. Tea or coffee is provided throughout on the day. Please bring your own lunch.

This experience voucher is valid for six months from date of purchase.
