Encompassing two days and one night, you and your partner will enjoy the solitude and tranquility of an overnight stay on the Great Barrier Reef in a heavenly environment.

Depart for the Great Barrier Reef from most Whitsunday ports. Travel in style aboard a large, air-conditioned, high-speed catamaran to this amazing natural wonder.

When you arrive at the Great Barrier Reef you will find your accommodation moored at the pontoon. By day it is a recreational place for people to hang out and enjoy the beauty of the Great Barrier Reef. You will enjoy activities such as snorkelling, semi-submersible tours, underwater viewing, sunbathing, and lunch with your fellow day guests. By mid-afternoon most people leave the floating pontoon, and you are one of only six guests remaining onboard!

Enjoy the serenity of being one of few snorkelling and scuba diving in this area of the Great Barrier Reef. Included in your package are two scuba dives (introductory or certified) and a guided snorkelling tour. If you don't wish to scuba dive, your extra dives can be replaced by more guided, leisurely snorkelling. Savour canapés and champagne at sunset and afterwards, and view the nocturnal activities of the many colourful reef fish and sensational coral and anemones. Relax and dine alfresco, surrounded only by gentle waves lapping numerous reef systems and a blanket of stars above.

You will be staying in a private room complete with a soft king-size bed. Snuggle in because there's another fabulous day ahead!

The next morning, be humbled by the sheer magnificence of the sun rising over the Great Barrier Reef. There is simply nothing more exhilarating than this sight – it is absolutely spectacular. Enjoy a few more solitary hours before the day visitors arrive.

Included is a full breakfast, two lunches, all scuba equipment, dinner and wine - there's nothing left for you to worry about.

Suitability & Guidelines

Venue:

We depart for the Great Barrier Reef from most Whitsunday ports, namely mainland Airlie Beach / Shute Harbour, Hamilton Island and Daydream Island.

Session Length

This is a two day, one night experience, and operates every day of the week except Tuesday. It is a very popular experience and should be booked at least eight weeks in advance if possible. Check-in is 10.30am, check out is 9.45am.

Guidelines:

Certified divers must produce their C Card. All uncertified divers over the age of 55 must produce a current Diving Medical Certificate issued by a qualified Dive Physician prior to diving. No children under 12 years of age will be permitted.

Numbers:

The price quoted is for two people. Accommodation is limited to a maximum of six guests per night. Day visitor numbers may reach up to 300 passengers – these guests depart at approximately 2.30pm and return at 10.30am the following morning.

Weather:

The weather or other unforseen circumstances may result in the cancellation of, or alteration to this service. In such cases, we will endeavour to rechedule your experience for a later date.
