What is the Experience?

Experience loops, rolls, wingovers and stalls with this thrilling aerial combat flight in a CJ-6A Nanchang warbird! Your pilot will take you for the flight of a lifetime in one of our warbirds and you will experience the world from a completely new angle! Do you dare to take the challenge?

When you arrive at the airport you’ll don your flight suit and climb into the back seat of the aircraft, behind your pilot. Once you are safely strapped into the seat you will be briefed on the mission ahead. Then it’s out to the flight line – the fun is about to begin!

The combat formation flight is performed with two, three or four CJ-6A Nanchangs. At the beginning of your flight you will experience the art of close formation as practiced by the air forces of the world. Then it's time to split the formation. The fight is on!

Diving and turning to gain position behind the opposing aircraft, your pilot will take you on an amazing aerial combat adventure, using real military rules and procedures. While you are in the air your pilot will also explain the tactics being used by each of the crew members. This is not a simulator or computer game - this is the real thing! And your safety and comfort is paramount. This is the most fun that we had in the air force and now we can share it with you!

The CJ-6A Nanchang is the current primary trainer of the Chinese air force, with a 9-cylinder Radial-engine and sliding canopies. This aircraft is still in use, being employed by several air forces in training military pilots around the world.

Your flight will conclude with an amazing low-level run over the reef. You will then rejoin formation and make your way back to the base.

After your aerial combat flight you will be grinning from ear to ear and buzzing all over with excitement after having experienced an absolutely mind-blowing flight!

Venue:

Jandakot, Western Australia - approximately 15 minutes south of the Perth CBD.

Session Length

This experience is available on Tues, Thurs, Fri, Sat and Sun. Bookings are essential and are subject to availability. Please allow just under two hours for this experience. The duration of your flight will be approximately 30 minutes.

Guidelines:

You will need to be 14 years of age or over to be eligible for this experience. There is also a maximum weight limit of 120kg and a maximum height limit of 6'4".
