Light Aircraft Hands-On Scenic Flight – 90 Minutes

What is the Experience?

Spend a glorious 90 minutes flying over Brisbane and its beautiful surrounds with this light aircraft hands-on scenic flight. Sights include North Stradbroke and the sparkling Moreton Bay. You will even get a chance to fly the plane yourself! This is topped off with a couple of hot laps on return.

After you are strapped into your seat next to the pilot, we take off and fly down the sparkling Queensland coastline towards Brisbane. Sit back and enjoy the magnificent panoramic views from onboard your plane. You will get fantastic views of Mount Coot-tha and Brisbane city. Brisbane city attractions include the Brisbane Cricket Ground (the Gabba) and the Story Bridge which spans across the Brisbane River.

Then we travel to Moreton Bay and fly over its sparkling multitude of islands to the picturesque North Stradbroke Island and Moreton Island. The view is spectacular. You may even be able to see dolphins, dugongs, turtles, stingrays or even whales swimming in the blue waters below you.

Your pilot will take you on your return flight back up the coast and you will get stunning views of the coastline and Deception Bay. From your seat onboard the Texan you will get unhindered panoramic views all the way.

On your return trip your pilot will let you have a go at flying the plane yourself! Take the controls under the guidance of your experienced pilot and see what it’s actually like to fly one of these light aircraft. To finish off your adventure your pilot will take you for a couple of hot laps around the aerodrome.

This 90 minute flight combines the ultimate Queensland scenic flight with the adrenalin of hot laps and hands-on flying. It will leave you grinning from ear to ear, with a camera full of stunning aerial photographs to show your family and friends.

IMPORTANT: A fuel surcharge of $15 will be payable directly to the supplier on the day. You must also call us at least 24 hours prior to your flight to confirm your booking, otherwise your flight will be cancelled and no refund will be given.

Venue:

Redcliffe, Queensland – approximately 30 minutes north of the Brisbane CBD.

Session Length

This experience is available seven days a week, from 7am to 12pm ( Nov - April) and 4pm (April - Oct), excluding Christmas Day and Good Friday, and is subject to availability. Please book at least three weeks in advance. The duration of your flight will be approximately 90 minutes.
