Light Aircraft Hands-On Scenic Flight – 30 Minutes

What is the Experience?

Fly down the coast towards Brisbane and cruise onboard our light sport aircraft. This is not just a scenic flight, however, as you’ll get the chance to take the controls and have a go at flying the plane yourself! Then you’ll return for a couple of hot laps around the aerodrome.

After you are strapped into your seat we take off and fly down the sparkling Queensland coastline towards Brisbane. For the scenic part of the flight your pilot will take you for a cruise over the beautiful Moreton Bay. You will be able to look down upon Moreton Bay’s gem-like expanse of blue water, and you might even be lucky enough to spot a dolphin, a dugong or even a whale!

Your pilot will also let you have a go at flying the aircraft yourself! Take the controls under the guidance of your experienced pilot and see what it’s actually like to fly one of these light aircraft. You will be able to have a go at flying the aircraft for approximately half of your flight.

IMPORTANT: You must call us at least 24 hours prior to your flight to confirm your booking, otherwise your flight will be cancelled and no refund will be given.

Suitability & Guidelines

Venue:

Redcliffe, Queensland – approximately 30 minutes north of the Brisbane CBD.

Session Length

This experience is available seven days a week, from 7am to 12pm (Nov - April) and 4pm (April - Oct), excluding Christmas Day and Good Friday, and is subject to availability. Please book at least three weeks in advance. The duration of your flight will be approximately 30 minutes.

Guidelines:

You must weigh less than 120kg to be eligible for this experience. You must call us at least 24 hours prior to your flight to confirm your booking, otherwise your flight will be cancelled and no refund will be given.

Numbers:

The price quoted is for one person. You will be one-on-one with your pilot during your flight. We can also do formation flights, should you wish to share your experience with friends or family.
