This light aircraft hands-on scenic flight is one of our most popular flying experiences! A breathtaking cruise over Moreton Bay and the areas surrounding Brisbane will be followed by a couple of hot laps around our aerodrome. Your pilot will even let you have a go at flying the plane yourself!

We have three aircraft from which to choose from – the Fly Synthesis Texan (a fixed-wing aircraft in which you will be sitting next to your pilot), the Airborne Microlight Trike or the Ramphos Amphibious Trike (powered hang-gliders in which you will be sitting behind your pilot). If you choose to fly in the amphibious trike you will be taking off from and landing in the water!

After you are strapped into your seat we take off and fly down the sparkling Queensland coastline towards Brisbane. Sit back, hold your breath, and enjoy the magnificent panoramic views from onboard your plane. Your pilot will take you from Redcliffe, over the stunning Deception Bay and by the remarkable Glasshouse Mountains. You will also take in views of Bribie Island, the Sunshine Coast and the busy streets of Brisbane. You may even be able to see dolphins, dugongs, turtles, stingrays or even whales swimming in the blue waters below you.

We will cross over Moreton Bay at 3500ft, flying over the picturesque Moreton Island, the famous Tangalooma Wrecks and the Wild Dolphin Resort. We then fly over the beach at a thrilling 500ft to add to the ultimate air adventure!

On our return trip we fly to 3500ft and your pilot will let you have a go at flying the plane yourself! Take the controls under the guidance of your experienced pilot and see what it’s actually like to fly one of these light aircraft.

To finish off your adventure your pilot will take you for a couple of hot laps around the aerodrome. Whether you have chosen to fly in our high-tech carbon fibre sports aircraft or in one of the agile and exciting trikes, these hot laps are sure to get your blood pumping!

IMPORTANT: A fuel surcharge of $15 will be payable directly to the supplier on the day. You must also call us at least 24 hours prior to your flight to confirm your booking, otherwise your flight will be cancelled and no refund will be given.

You must weigh less than 120kg to be eligible for this experience. You must call us at least 24 hours prior to your flight to confirm your booking, otherwise your flight will be cancelled and no refund will be given.

Numbers:

The price quoted is for one person. You will be one-on-one with your pilot during your flight. We can also do formation flights, should you wish to share your experience with friends or family.

Weather:

This experience may be affected by the weather. In the case of poor conditions, we may need to reschedule your experience for a later date.

Session Length:

This experience is available seven days a week, from 7am to 12pm ( Nov - April) and 4pm (April - Oct), excluding Christmas Day and Good Friday, and is subject to availability. Please book at least three weeks in advance. The duration of your flight will be approximately 50 minutes.

Extra Info:

Don’t forget to bring your camera! You will need to bring a towel if you have chosen to fly in the amphibious trike. Please tell us which aircraft you would like to fly in at the time of booking. A fuel surcharge of $15 will be payable directly to the supplier on the day.
