What is the Experience?

Indulge in the ultimate food and wine experience as you enjoy a sunset winery tour of Adelaide's Penfolds Magill Estate, before being swept off your feet with an exquisite five course dégustation dinner and matching wines in one of South Australia’s most awarded restaurants!

Commence your Penfolds experience at the delightful Penfolds Magill Estate Restaurant, before setting off for your twilight guided tour of the historical working winery.

Your winery experience also includes a tour of the underground cellars and tunnels where the famous Grange is stored - a must for any wine enthusiast!

You will then be led to Penfolds’ jewel in the crown – Penfolds Magill Estate Restaurant! Looking over the lights of Adelaide city, you will commence your five course dégustation dinner. Immerse yourself in a truly memorable dining experience! To add to the taste sensation, each of your dishes will be paired with a premium style Penfolds wine.

Finally, as a memento of your visit, we would like to offer you a Penfolds Rewards of Patience book valued at $30.

Suitability & Guidelines

Venue:

Adelaide, South Australia.

Session Length

This experience is available Tuesday–Saturday, commencing at 5:30pm (winter) or 6:00pm (summer) with dinner an hour later. We recommend allowing at least two hours at the restaurant to enjoy your dinner. Please arrive and meet at Penfolds Magill Estate Restaurant at least 10 minutes early.

Guidelines:

This experience is suitable for almost anyone with a love for fine food and wine, however you must be 18 years of age or older. The short tour will visit underground cellars and tunnels where there is a maximum of eight steps.

Numbers:

The price quoted is for one person. We operate with a minimum of two people. During the tour you will be a member of a group. Group sizes vary, but may include up to ten others.

Weather:

This experience is generally not affected by the weather. A very small component of the twilight tour is conducted outdoors to get to and from the cellars and restaurant, as such, the experience continues in all weather conditions.

Our guides are all professionally qualified wine educators who can share their own stories in addition to providing comprehensive information on the history of the winery and Penfolds wines.

This experience voucher is valid for six months from date of purchase.
