What is the Experience?
Have you got a sweet tooth? Do you love to cook good food? Then you’ll love our dessert cooking class! During this Sydney-based cooking class you’ll cook and eat a range of delicious desserts. You’ll also get to take home some new and exciting recipe ideas! Forget the main course. Who’s for dessert?
Calling all sweet-tooths! During this cooking class you’ll learn everything you want to know about one of life’s simple pleasures – dessert! Dessert provides a satisfying end to a meal and is a source of much devilish pleasure and delight! Cooking dessert is easy, when you know how.
When you arrive for your cooking class you’ll be offered a light beer, wine or water. You’ll then be given a short orientation and safety brief.
Your talented dessert chef will demonstrate the dishes that you will be cooking and answer any questions you have. You’ll then break into pairs and prepare your meal under the guidance of the chef.
The mouthwatering menu includes:
- Strawberry Zabaglione
- Apple and Pear Galette with Vanilla Bean Ice-Cream
- Chocolate and Raspberry Brownies with Cream
- Dark Chocolate Mousse
- Custard Profiteroles with a Warm Butterscotch Sauce
After this course there’ll be no more shop-bought ice-cream desserts or burnt tarts in the oven. Your chef will show you just how satisfying and easy it is to make your own desserts from scratch! You’ll also learn many of the shortcuts that professional chefs use when cooking in order to produce great results quickly – these are great tips for people on the go!
When you’ve finished cooking you’ll sit down with your new friends and eat the delicious desserts you’ve created. Throughout your indulgent feast you’ll match wines with the food you’ve cooked and discuss your culinary experience.
After completing this cooking class you’ll know more about preparing, cooking, presenting and eating desserts! You will go home knowing how to make good desserts, inexpensively and with minimum effort. This is a cooking class in ultimate indulgence, perfect for anyone who thinks sweets should be served not only for dessert, but for entrée and main as well!
Venue:
Glebe, NSW – approximately 2km south-west of the Sydney CBD.
Session Length
This experience is held on Saturdays, commencing at 1.30pm and finishing at 4.30pm. Bookings are essential and are subject to availability.

This experience is perfect for anyone who has a sweet tooth and loves cooking and is suitable for people of all skill levels. This experience is not suitable for people under 18 years of age.
Numbers:
The price quoted is for one person. We operate with a maximum of 16 students per cooking class. During the class you will be cooking in pairs.
Weather:
This experience is not affected by the weather.
Other Info:
There are rare occasions when the minimum class number of ten isn't reached. In this instance you would be given three days notice, the chance to reschedule for a later date, or offered the opportunity to participate in one of our other great classes.
This experience voucher is valid for six months from date of purchase.
