Grab a friend and join us for a great day out and a look at country life as we journey through five rural pubs for a drink and an opportunity to meet the people who reside in the Scenic Rim region. Enjoy true country-style hospitality, a hearty lunch and a thirst quenching beer or two along the way!

Your country pub beer tour begins when we pick you and your partner up in our mini-coach at 9am from your Brisbane CBD accommodation. Escape from the city to the quaint country towns of the Scenic Rim region, and take a walk back in time.

On the country pub beer tour, you’ll visit five great country hotels in Boonah and its surrounding region. You can be assured of great hospitality, superb country meals and a lovely tranquil inviting escape away from the stress in the city. Meet the real country people and best of all, it’s only one hour from Brisbane. Along the way, your guide will provide commentary on the region and the history of the hotels.

On the tour, we will visit the following country pubs:

Commercial Hotel, Boonah.
Dugandan Hotel, Boonah.
Commercial Hotel, Harrisville.
Royal Hotel, Roadvale.
The Rosevale Retreat Hotel, Rosevale.

As we arrive at the first pub, the first shout is on us! At each stop, you’ll have the opportunity to meet the local people, buy a beer or two and experience wonderful hospitality. Lunch is included at one of the country hotels, where there a choice of great steaks, chicken, fish, rissoles and delicious roasts.

Finally, we head back to Brisbane and you can expect to return to the CBD at approximately 5pm.

You must be over 18 years of age to participate in this experience. You should be of average fitness and reasonably mobile.

Numbers:

The price quoted is for two people. We operate with a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 12 people. Should minimum numbers not be met, we will reschedule your experience for a later date.

Weather:

This experience may be affected by the weather. In the case of severe storms, the supplier reserves the right to reschedule your experience for a later date.

Session Length:

This experience is a full day in duration, departing at 9am and returning at 5pm. We operate 7 days a week, all year round (except Good Friday and Christmas Day). Please book in advance to secure your preferred date.

Extra Info:

The package does not include drinks consumed during the tour. These are an additional cost payable on the day. We supply the first drink of the tour only.
