What is the Experience?

For a truly indulgent experience, invite a friend and combine the finer things in life with a wine tasting and golf tour of the Scenic Rim region, just 45 minutes from Brisbane! Enjoy 9 holes of golf before you both embark on a wine tasting extravaganza and lunch at a couple of local wineries!

Your golf and wine tasting tour begins when we pick you and your partner up in our mini-coach at 7.30am from your Brisbane CBD accommodation. During your tour of the Scenic Rim, you will enjoy some of South East Queensland’s award winning wines, a round of golf and a delicious lunch at Warrego Wines.

Our first stop of the day is at a golf course for 9 holes of golf - either the Karana Downs Golf Club or Sandy Gallop Golf Club (this will be decided upon by the supplier prior to the trip).

Karana Downs is a picturesque and challenging course with views of the Brisbane River across 3 holes and is a Par 66 course – accuracy and not big hitting is the order of the day on this course!

Sandy Gallop encompasses a bushland setting with a Par 70. This golf course was the scene of Greg Norman’s first professional victory. Included in your golfing experience are 9 holes of golf, a motorised cart, and the hire of clubs, balls and tees.

After golf, its back on the bus happy and smiling as we head off to taste some medal-winning wines at Warrego Wines; a modern winery nestled near the historic and delightful township of Marburg. This winery has varieties which include, Verdelho, Shiraz, Cabernet, Merlot, Rose, White Port and Tawny Port. They also have a new range of organic wines to choose from, including opulent organic Rose to sweetish Shiraz. Afterwards, lunch will be served, with a choice of a Warrego Ploughman’s Lunch, Cheese to Die For, Smoked Salmon and Rocket Salad, Asian Chicken Salad, Marburg Chicken Salad, Chicken Wrap or Vegetarian Delight (this menu is subject to change without notice. Drinks and additional food are at your own expense).

After lunch, it’s time to head to either Normanby Wines at Harrisville or Iron Bark Ridge Vineyard for some further wine tastings.

Finally, we head back to Brisbane and you can expect to return to the CBD at approximately 5pm.

Session Length

This experience is a full day in duration, departing at 7.30am and returning at 5pm. We operate on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday, all year round. Please book in advance to secure your preferred date.

Guidelines:

Numbers:

The price quoted is for two people. We operate with a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 12 people. Should minimum numbers not be met, we will reschedule your experience for a later date.
