Piano & Music Weekend Workshop For Beginners
Experience Code: HMS831Description
Have you always wanted to learn how to play the piano? Now you can. Over two stimulating and fun days wannabe musicians will make their dreams come true using the fool-proof Music Logic teaching method. By the end of the weekend music workshop, you’ll be able to play slowly, Bach’s Prelude in C!
Experience the joy and accomplishment of learning to play an instrument after just two days of lessons! There are no lectures and each day is broken into four sessions, with generous breaks to avoid overload! Each session includes discussion, hands-on exercises in small groups, an entertaining and interactive presentation, and a chance for you to receive individual assistance from our experienced musical tutors.
After day one, we provide you with recommended ‘homework’ consisting of two x five minute reviews of the day’s exercises. On day two, you will give your very first concert, as well as trying your hand at playing a range of instruments including piano, digital piano, harmonium and electric keyboard. While the music workshop is keyboard-based, the information and skills you will learn can easily be transferred to most other instruments, and are great for singers too.
Whether you’re 15 or 85, a total beginner or an advanced ‘ear’ player, our uniquely entertaining and educational experience will delight and surprise you. There are no tricks or gimmicks, you will learn real music! Our ‘secret’ is the revolutionary ‘Music Logic’ approach which attempts to ‘de-mystify’ music and has helped thousands to play music – even those who have tried and failed in the past.
Over two days, you will not only play ‘hands together’, but also perform from a range of pop, folk, blues and classical music. You won’t go home a concert pianist, but you will surprise your family or friends with your new found music skills. Best of all, you’ll have the information you need to keep improving as you continue playing music at home.
