Let your children come and fly over Cairns and the surrounds in this hot air ballooning experience. They will enjoy a 30 minute balloon flight, while floating in their own balloon festival! To complete this amazing morning celebrate with a full, hot breakfast!

Your child will enjoy the wonder & romance of hot air ballooning as you float over the picturesque Atherton Tablelands landscape at sunrise.

You will arrive at your launch site to see the first of many impressive views of the morning as your balloon inflates and takes shape. There are great photo opportunities, as each balloon is a different design. It's just like flying in a balloon festival every day!

Guidelines:

Children must be at least 4 years old, or stand at least 1.4 metres tall. The child price is valid for children aged 4 - 13 years. A minimum fitness level is required. You must be able to climb into the basket, unassisted and stand for flight.

Numbers:

The price quoted is for one child, aged 4 - 13 years. There will be a minimum of 16 and a maximum of 20 passengers in the basket with you during your flight. Private charters can also be arranged (please contact us to inquire about a private charter).

Weather:

The Atherton Tablelands has one of the most reliable take-off rates in Australia. In the rare case of poor weather, your experience will be rescheduled for a later date.

Session Length:

Please allow approximately five hours for this experience, this includes return transfers, a 30 minute balloon flight and breakfast. We will collect you at 5am and travel to the launch site. You will be returned to your original pick-up point at 10am.

Extra Info:

All passengers are briefed and given safety instructions on the day. This includes take-off and landing positions. PLEASE NOTE: There is a compulsory $25pp insurance levy payable direct on the day.
