Calling all sushi lovers! If you’ve ever wanted to learn how to make delicious sushi rolls, temaki-zushi or miso soup, then this Japanese cooking class is perfect. Learn the techniques to make Japanese cuisine from the experts and impress your friends and family with your new cooking skills!

Let’s have some fun – Japanese style! Learn to make authentic Japanese cuisine including sushi rolls, temaki-zushi and miso soup in this cooking class.

On the day of your class, you will be met by your chef who will teach you the tricks of the trade when it comes to cooking; Japanese style! During the cooking class, you will learn how to make sushi rolls, cook rice, sushi vinegar and sushi rice. You also learn how to choose quality seafood for Sashimi and watch a fish filleting demonstration.

Japanese cuisine is known for its strong emphasis on fresh, seasonal produce, quality ingredients and beautiful presentation. During this class, not only will you learn how to cook, but you’ll also get to eat the products that you make whilst learning about the richness of Japanese culture.

Surry Hills, NSW – approximately 10 minutes east of Sydney CBD.

Guidelines:

This class is perfect for anyone interested in Japanese cuisine. Please bring your own apron and knives on the day of your cooking class. You may also like to bring your own drinks including wine or Japanese sake.

Numbers:

The price quoted is for one person. We operate with a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 12 people. In the event that minimum numbers are not met, we reserve the right to reschedule your class for a later date.

Weather:

This experience takes place indoors and is therefore not affected by the weather.

Session Length:

Classes take place on selected Wednesdays or Saturdays throughout the year, starting at 10am and finishing at 1pm. Bookings are essential and are subject to availability.

Extra Info:

We request that you bring your own apron and knives on the day of the class (no special type required, please ensure they are sharp). If you do not have this equipment, we will do our best to provide it on the day – please advise us in advance if you require this.
