Come on board for a fishing trip on the magnificent Port Phillip Bay, just minutes from Melbourne. Take your chance at hooking a snapper, giant flathead, squid, elephant fish or shark – they are all just a cast away! During your fishing trip you will also enjoy a sausage sizzle lunch.

Your fishing vessel will be located an easy five minute walk from St Kilda. Upon arrival you will be given a full safety and security brief prior to the vessel leaving port.

Our boats have marine toilet facilities, a large customer ice box, sound system, plus fish-finding and GPS equipment to make your fishing day more successful. Your skipper takes real pride in his extraordinary knowledge and passion for fishing, life at sea and the environment.

Your trip will include:

A half day fishing charter on Port Phillip Bay, leaving from St Kilda Pier
Easy-to-use spinning reels and equipment
A light morning tea
A sausage sizzle
Your catch cleaned and bagged, ready to take home
Fully licensed or BYO alcohol

IMPORTANT: You MUST have a fishing licence. Licences are valid for 48 hours at a cost of $5.50 per person and are available online for purchase from the following web address - http://www.dpi.vic.gov.au/dpi/index.htm. They are also available at most Shell service stations.

Guidelines:

You must be over seven years of age. You need to inform us if you have diabetes, asthma, epilepsy, or other pre-existing medical conditions or if you are on medication. Not suitable during pregnancy or for those deemed at increased health risk. We have the right of refusal.

Numbers:

The price quoted is for one person. We operate with a minimum of 12 and a maximum of 16 passengers.

Weather:

All trips are subject to weather conditions. We will SMS you between 4.30pm and 6pm the night before to confirm the weather forecast for your fishing day. We reserve the right to cancel trips at short notice and reschedule for a later date.

Session Length:

Fishing trips are available all year round. Your fishing trip starts at 7am and goes until 12noon - a duration of five hours. Bookings should be made 7 - 14 days in advance. We also request that you arrive 30 minutes prior to departure time.

Extra Info:

You will be required to sign a liability release form prior to departure. The vessel has full facilities on board. Alcohol is permitted in the form of canned beer only and with a limit of four cans per person.

This experience voucher is valid for six months from date of purchase.
