Experience one of the best tandem sky diving experiences over the Yarra Valley! Enjoy the thrill of sky diving tandem with an instructor as you plummet towards the ground at 220km/h. Land in a well reknowned winery vineyard and enjoy the tastes of the local area.

We begin with a briefing with your tandem sky diving instructor. This includes what to expect, what you will see on the flight to height, freefall, under canopy and upon landing.

Once we have familiarized you, made you feel comfortable, taught you how to overcome your fears and most importantly, how to increase your awareness - it's time to gear up.

You will then head out to the plane, where you will practice your exits. Once completed, it’s time to get in the plane and get ready for take-off!

You can expect to jump from a height of 10,000ft. As we leave the airfield, you will be treated to stunning views of the Yarra Valley, the Dandenong Ranges as well as the city of Melbourne and Port Phillip Bay. Once we reach height, it will be time to prepare for the jump. The door opens and it’s now time for you to take a step into a brave new world!

You and your tandem master will accelerate through the air, reaching speeds of up to 220km/h.

Freefall feels like riding a cushion of air and your senses will take in views as far as the eye can see. Finally, it's time to deploy your parachute. From the loud rushing of air that you hear all around you, the parachute ride is very different as you sail around the sky, gliding slowly to the ground. The landing is easy, just lift your legs and let your tandem instructor touch down first .

On landing you will enjoy a light lunch consisting of a glass of sparkling wine and local cuisine.

Sky diving is suitable for people of almost any age as demonstrated by AFL legend Ron Barassi in the sky diving photos. DVDs are available for purchase on the day and for every DVD purchased you will receive a complimentary still photo.

Session Length

We operate all year round. We recommend that you book at least 1 week in advance. Bookings are subject to availability. Please allow approx 3 hours for the experience. This includes briefing, flight, freefall, parachute ride and de-brief. Please allow additional time for lunch at the winery.

Guidelines:

No experience is required. You must be at least 14 years of age to sky dive, a maximum of 100kg and physically fit. We can cater for disabled participants - please enquire at the time of booking (conditions apply). You must be at least 18 to participate in the wine tasting.

Numbers:

Your tandem sky dive will be with your instructor. There may be up to 20 people attending the safety briefing at any one time. The price quoted is for 1 person. Please note: There is an additional $25 Australian Parachuting Federation levy payable directly to the supplier.

Weather:

This experience is affected by the weather. In the case of poor weather conditions, we will either delay your jump or it may be necessary to cancel your skydive and reschedule for a later date. Rain, wind and cloud are factors that can delay sky diving.

Please Note: Alcohol must not be consumed prior to your sky dive. After your sky dive, you will also receive a 2-course lunch and a glass of wine at a Yarra Valley Winery - please advise us at the time of booking if you do not wish us to provide catering for you.
