Hot Air Ballooning & Breakfast - 30 Mins Child
Experience Code: OB981A 30 minute hot air balloon flight takes you on a journey alongside the West MacDonnell Ranges. Kangaroos, wallabies and birds can be seen in their natural habitat as they awaken, with the first rays of a new day. After the flight enjoy a freshly cooked 3 course breakfast.
Your hot air ballooning adventure begins 1 hour before dawn. You will be picked up by the crew and taken to one of our numerous launch sites. We then determine the best place to launch, and inflate the balloon.
Once floating gently in the air you will appreciate the vast remoteness of the Australian Outback. Wildlife, particularly big red kangaroos are seen nearly every day as the balloon crosses spinifex grasses, mulga scrub and cattle stations.
After landing you may become involved in assisting the crew or taking photographs as we pack the nylon balloon back into its bag. We then take you to a grassed, shaded area alongside the Todd River where you will be served a wholesome cooked breakfast!
