Get ready to learn how to cook! This Thai cooking class is perfect for beginners who want to learn the secrets to preparing genuine Thai cuisine. With a focus on hands-on cooking and under the watchful eye of your Master Chef, you’ll be preparing delicious dishes in no time at all!

If you’ve ever wanted to create mouth-watering Thai cuisine, then this cooking class is the perfect opportunity to learn how!

After a welcoming coffee or herbal tea, you are introduced to Master Chef Chaloem. He will invite you into his kitchen, give you instructions on how to use the equipment, and demonstrate all the wonderful ingredients that you will use to create your delicious Thai dishes.

Throughout the cooking class, you will learn how to source these ingredients for yourself, and discover first hand from your Master Chef, some of his best kept secrets! You will dazzle your friends and family with your ability to produce authentic and delicious dishes from the North-East Issan region of Thailand with this 100% hands-on cooking class.

Following a few simple demonstrations, you will start preparing your Thai dishes, one at a time under his watchful eye and gentle instructions. During this class, you will prepare two entrees and three main course dishes.

An example of the menu might be:

  • Por Pia - crisp spring rolls and sweet chilli dipping sauce
  • Moo Gatee - pork dip, a delicious warming creamy mix of crumbed loin pork, coconut cream and spices
  • Larb Gai - traditional Issan chicken salad
  • Kaeng Om Gai - fragrant Issan chicken curry
  • Pad Ped Goong - a hot and spicy prawn stir-fry with Thai basil

On completion of his class, you are welcome to either take home your creations or share them as a group with a complementary wine or beverage of your choice. You will also receive recipes for each of the dishes you prepared during the class.

This beginners cooking class is perfect for any one with a love of cooking and those who want to learn about the secrets of authentic Thai cooking. Bookings are essential and subject to availability.

Numbers:

The price quoted is for one person. We operate with a maximum of 4 people in the class to ensure personal attention at all times.

Weather:

This experience takes place indoors and is therefore not affected by the weather.

Session Length:

Classes are held every Monday from 12:00 noon - 3:00pm, every Thursday and Saturday from 9.30am – 1pm, and every Sunday from 9:30am - 12:30pm. Please allow 3.5 hours for your experience. We recommend that you book as far in advance as possible to secure your favoured date.

You are required to advise the supplier of any food allergies you might have at the time of booking. Please Note: This is a beginners class. A more advanced class is available; however, you MUST have completed this course in order to participate in the advanced class.
