Photography Short Course
Experience Code: PKK211Description
This Melbourne-based photography short course is designed to improve your photographic skills with four photography lessons in your chosen area of interest. You might focus on night photography, travel photography, or portraiture. We'll have you snapping happily and thinking creatively in no time!
Perhaps you want to know more about photographing subjects in low light. Maybe you’re an aspiring travel photographer who wants tips on capturing culturally-rich images. Or you might just want an overview of photography in general and some professional advice. If you already know how to use your camera but just want a little extra inspiration on how to think and shoot creatively then this is the perfect course for you.
The photography lessons are one-on-one and are tailored to suit your needs. During your first class you will discuss what you expect to gain and establish a focus for the course. You will learn, amongst other things, about how to get optimum benefit from your camera’s manual functions and new and different ways to approach photography.
At each photography lesson you will be assigned tasks, which you will work on between sessions in your own time. The photographs you produce will be critiqued in the following lesson. You will receive professional advice and feedback, enabling you to work on improving your technique and creative approach to photography throughout the course.
Your tutor is a Melbourne-based photographer who specialises in editorial, fine art and commercial photography in the areas of food, lifestyle, interiors, travel and still life. She is a member of the Australian Commercial and Media Photographers and has extensive experience as a professional photographer.
After completing this short photography course you will have learnt more about the technicalities and creative approaches to photography. You will also have embarked on several of your own exciting photographic expeditions!
