Explore the Flinders Ranges from a unique perspective. This ancient mountain range, located a half a days drive from Adelaide, is filled with wildlife, spectacular peaks and valleys and amazing adventures. There is no better setting for your camel ride of a life time!

This fantastic adventure begins two hours before sunset.

Traveling through mallee bushland, your one hour camel tour will see you arriving at a turn-of-the-century stone cottage as the sun slips behind the Dutchman escarpment.

Sip your champagne as you watch the evening turn to night and the Milky Way light up the night sky.

As you take your seat in front of the roaring fire, candlelight sparkling off the silverware and glasses, your award-winning chef begins to describe the upcoming native gourmet delicacies and your mouth begins watering.

Entrée

Wattle seed chicken strips, served on a bed of crisp lettuce.

Main

Lemon myrtle baked barramundi with fresh native vegetables.

Dessert

Wild lime brulee with Muntrie conserve.

This is all complimented with Australian beer or wine. After your meal you will be transferred by vehicle back to your departure point.

A truly magical experience and a great way to see the Australian native bushland.

This experience operates from Quorn, this is a 40 minute drive north of Port Augusta, and a 3 1/2 hour drive north of Adelaide.

Guidelines:

No riding experience is necessary. Please advise of any special dietary requirements when booking.

Numbers:

The price quoted is for one person. There will be up to twelve other participants on your camel ride and dinner with you. During the tour each camel string has a maximum of six camels (twelve riders) and one cameleer / tour guide.

Weather:

This experience may be cancelled during or immediately following periods of heavy rain. We will endeavor to contact you, however if in doubt please call. Any cancelled rides will be rescheduled for a later date.

Session Length:

This experience departs every Tuesday, Thursday & Sunday, 2 hours before sunset, subject to availability. Please note that this should be booked at least 6 weeks in advance. As a guide you will be at the venue 3-4 hours, including briefing, 1 hour riding time and 2.5 hours dining.

Extra Info:

You will be joined by one of our fantastic guides, so you don’t need to worry about anything - just enjoy yourself! Don’t forget to bring a camera. Remember to wear long pants and closed in shoes. Don’t forget to wear sunscreen in summer and you can wear a peaked cap under your helmet (supplied).
