Ever wanted to feel like you were gliding or floating on air? The Segway® is like nothing else you’ve ever experienced and that’s because there is nothing else like it! Learn how to ride one of these amazing machines and zip around Sydney on a Segway guided tour!

Your Segway adventure commences with a safety briefing and explanation of the planned tour route. You will have the option to select your favourite coloured Segway which will then be adjusted according to your height.

A group instruction session describes the features and functions of the Segway. You will then be expertly assisted with your first step up on to the Segway. A brief check of your understanding and then you set off on the carefully designed practise course to build your Segway skills. The experience requires very little physical exertion.

With practise over, the group depart on an exhilarating journey. Regardless of the location, all routes provide amazing sights to be experienced in a way like never before. The tour is divided into two halves with a convenient stop half way through. The skills developed in the first part of the tour are tested in the second half with more challenging terrain and an increase in maximum speed. There are plenty of photo opportunities and each group can dictate subtle route changes, further enhancing the adventure.

Guidelines:

There are no age restrictions but participants must have adequate maturity to interact with the environment. The Segway has minimum 45KG and maximum 120KG rider weight requirements for safe operation. All participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Numbers:

The price quoted is for one person. We operate with a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 10 people on the tour. In the event that minimum numbers are not met, we reserve the right to reschedule your experience for a later date.

Weather:

Segway tours operate in all safe weather conditions which includes rain. In the event of heavy rain or dangerous and unfavourable weather, we will contact you two hours prior to the scheduled departure time to discuss options which may include rescheduling.

Session Length:

tours are available every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Public Holiday, excluding Christmas Day and New Years Day. All tours are 2 hours in duration. Morning and afternoon sessions are available with the first tour starting at 11am and second at 2pm.

Extra Info:

Each participant, parent or guardian must read and sign a tour participation agreement in English.The Segway tour is disability friendly. You must be able to step on to, and stand on the raised (20cm) platform. The use of the left hand is required for steering.

This experience voucher is valid for six months from date of purchase.

Suitability Information:

This experience may be suitable for people with a minor mobility impairment. The Segway can be used by anyone who is able to stand on one leg and have the use of his or her left hand for turning.
