Double the height of the Harbour Bridge, Sydney Skywalk is an exhilarating 40 minute outdoor experience on top of Sydney Tower, a breath taking 260 metres above the harbour city. Dare to step out over the edge and face Sydney like never before, feel the high-altitude breeze and touch the clouds!

Skywalk will literally send you over the edge! Suspended from Sydney Tower's limits, you will get sensational 360-degree views of Sydney from 260m above street level!

Your visit will start with a safety briefing. You are then fitted with protective Skysuits and prepared for the adventure out!

Harnessed to safety rails by sliding cables, you will be escorted along purpose-built steel walkways and platforms by Skyguides, pointing out the city's geographical, historical and cultural landmarks along the way.

Now here’s for some interesting facts:

Sydney Tower is the 25th tallest freestanding structure in the world and the second tallest in the Southern Hemisphere
It boasts the highest public observation deck south of the equator, sitting 250m above land
Sydney Tower more than double the height of the Harbour Bridge (134m)
Sydney Tower is the first place in Sydney to greet the dawn each day and the last place to see the sunset
Sydney Tower is the same height as the Eiffel Tower
Visitors to the observation deck can see 55km out to sea (weather dependant) compared to someone at Bondi Beach who can see just 5km to the horizon. This means a Tower observer can see a ship approaching Sydney two hours before the person at the beach
Sydney Tower still sets the maximum height limit for Sydney buildings today – 279m

During your Skywalk experience you are guaranteed to have an amazing time and get spectacular views of a city that was voted the most beautiful in the world!

Also included is entry to Sydney Tower Observation Deck and Oztrek, a simulated ride which takes you on a virtual tour around Australia. 180-degree screens will see you travelling from tropical Queensland to the outback and beyond!

Please Note: If the group is already full upon arrival you may have to wait 45 minutes for the next tour. However you still need to activate your voucher.

Guidelines:

Skywalk is suitable for almost anyone! However you must be older than 10 years to participate. Wheelchair access is available (please notify us at the time of booking). No loose items will be allowed on the Skywalk. You must not be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Numbers:

This experience is for one adult (16+ years). You will be in a group of approximately 15 people plus your guide on the day.

Weather:

This experience operates in all weather conditions, except when lightning is present. During wet weather you will be supplied with an all-weather Skysuit.

Session Length:

Each Skywalk lasts approximately 1.5 hours and runs daily (except Christmas Day) from 9am to 10pm, with the last Skywalk departing 8.15pm. This includes a safety briefing, suit-up, an elevator to the top and 40 minute Skywalk. This experience is for a day, night or dusk walks.

Extra Info:

Lockers are provided to keep your valuables secure during the walk. You must complete a medical declaration prior to the walk and you must not be under the influence of drugs or alcohol prior to your experience. Cameras are not permitted on the Skywalk however photos are available for purchase.
