Write and record music in your own home with the help of a professional musician! With your professional songwriter by your side you'll create an original piece of music from scratch, performing it and recording it in your home recording studio. At the end it's your creativity and work that's on CD!

On the day of your experience the musician arrives at your house with all the gear needed to create and record your own song.

Your musician will bring an acoustic guitar, electric guitar, keyboard, professional microphone, headphones, and laptop with multiple music programs. Have ready any of your own instruments that you want to play also.

Together you will decide on the musical genre, the music, the lyrics and the melody. If you can sing or play an instrument you'll be involved at all levels, otherwise the musician will do it all for you.

Your musician will coach you through the songwriting process and help turn your ideas into great music. You can use poems or music that you have already written, call upon inspiration from other bands and artists or create a piece of music completely from scratch.

Your personality and style will be reflected in your song, whether it be a little bit of rock'n'roll or a little bit of soul.

At then end of your recording session you'll have your very own CD with your very own original song recorded onto it! Dedicate it to someone you love, give it to someone who has everything or just enjoy learning how to make music and keep it for yourself!

Guidelines:

This experience is suitable for anyone over five years of age. No musical experience is required, just a passion for music and creating something original. This experience is also suitable for songwriters and performers who are looking for extra support and advice.

Numbers:

The price quoted is for one person. You will be one-on-one with your professional songwriter/musician on the day.

Session Length:

This experience is available seven days a week, day and evening, and is by appointment only. The duration of your experience will be 2-2.5 hours.

Extra Info:

You may wish to compile some lyrics or written music and think about the kind of song you would like to record prior to your experience. We must have access to power and need a large table or small open space to work from.
