What is the Experience?

Ever wanted to create great sculptures for your home or garden? This is truly a unique experience and is so simple. Within one day, you'll acquire all of the skills and confidence to create an amazing stone sculpture you can be proud to take home and put on display!

Why not join the 1000's of people who have discovered their artistic outlet in these fun-filled, one-day workshops! Past students have been truly amazed at what can be created in just a day.

Our aim is to show you everything you need to know to be able to create your own sculptures after the workshop. We provide all of the tools and materials along with lots of guidance.

Your day will start at 9am with a quick introduction and then it's on to the fun stuff! We mix all of the components used to make the sculpture material and we even tell you and the other class members about the mix and how to get it right.

We then go through lots of practical information and show you how to design sculptures. Don't worry if you don't have a creative bone in your body, as we have lots of ideas and step through several other processes and work on several other mediums before starting work on your sculpture! This will ensure you have the confidence before working on larger sculptures.

After a break for lunch (not included), you will start working on your sculpture and by mid afternoon, your new masterpiece will be completed and ready to take home.

Your completed sculpture is suitable for indoor use or even as an outdoor sculpture in the garden! No firing or special finishing is required and your sculpture will last a lifetime.

At the end of the day, we will even take a photo of you and your sculpture, which we will send to you after the workshop.

You will leave the workshop, with:

Your very own 40cm sculpture;
All the knowledge and confidence to create more sculptures, &
A big smile on your face!

Venue:

Workshops are run at Forestville, Glenhaven & Castle Hill. Please notify us of your preferred location at the time of booking.

Session Length

Workshops run on selected days throughout the year. See below for available dates. All workshops start at 9am and finish at approximately 3.30pm. We recommend you book in well advance as we cannot guarantee that a course will be running at your preferred location on a specific date.

Guidelines:

Suitable for people 12 years and older. You don't need to be creative as we provide lots of ideas and assist you every step of the way to create your masterpiece. This is a great medium for complete beginners or even people who have sculptured in other mediums previously.

Numbers:

The price quoted is for one person. We operate with a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 14 people. For corporate groups, we can cater for up to 70 people. In the event that minimum numbers are not met, we reserve the right to reschedule your experience for a later date.

Weather:

This experience is not affected by the weather, however, it can get cold at some of the venues and we advise you to bring something warm to wear.

Other Info:

We provide all of the tools and materials on the day. Lunch is not included, so please bring your own. A cafe is available on site for you to purchase refreshments if you prefer.

Suitability Information:

This experience may be suitable for people with a mobility impairment & / or sensory impairment. Wheelchair access is available, unfortunately this experience is not suitable for people suffering from quadriplegia. We can also cater to those with a sensory impairment, other than sight.

This experience voucher is valid for six months from date of purchase.
