What is the Experience?

Disappear from the world for a romantic getaway in one of the most unique places in the world! You will be staying and dining in a castle escape that is like something out of a fairytale. Follow this with a winery tour of some of Adelaide’s finest wineries and you’ll be living happily ever after!

Once upon a time there was a world where knights and fair damsels were aplenty. Within a room featuring leather armchairs, an antique Georgian oak dining table, gold-stenciled and hand-painted friezes and a whimsical antique spinning wheel you sit with your loved one. This romantic getaway is the stuff that dreams and fairytales are made of.

You will be staying with your partner in the Observatory Suite. This room also features a separate lounge/dining room, a sunken circular spa above which golden stars shine like jewels, a kitchenette and a rooftop circular bedroom with a handcarved oak bed and panoramic windows so that you can keep an eye out for marauding dragons!

For dinner there will be a four-course meal that is served course by course to your suite at your chosen time. Rare 18th century European hallmarked sterling silver pieces feature in your dinner setting along with the finest quality linen. Your meal will have been created using the freshest possible ingredients, including a bountiful selection of organic and bio-dynamic products. Included is an Adelaide Hills regional premium wine to complement the selected dishes.

The following morning you will arise to a continental breakfast which may include spiced porridge with dried fruits and mugs of Swiss hot chocolate. You are then taken in your chauffeur-driven BMW 7 series chariot for a day visiting selected regional wineries such as Charles Melton, Mountadam and Rockford. Your luggage will be safely stored in the castle vaults until your return.

Session Length

This experience is available for reservations all year round. Bookings are essential and are subject to availability. Check-in is at 3pm. The duration of your winery tour will be eight hours.
