My husband was particularly pleased with learning more details surrounding the actual driving of a steam train, such as how the fire gets lit and put out, using bamboo as oiling point seals, as well as the practicalities of driving and braking the train. The operators were exceptionally friendly, helpful and inclusive of all the people present. They are all enthusiasts and this shows.
