Take to the air in the famous Tiger Moth for a 30-minute scenic flight over the beautiful Hunter Valley. During your joy flight you will take a trip back in time in the cockpit of an historic Tiger Moth. This Tiger Moth flight will have you buzzing with excitement. Perfect for a 21st birthday!
You can choose to go for your scenic flight in either a Tiger Moth or a Chipmunk. Our aircraft are maintained to the highest standards and are magnificently restored and presented.
When you arrive for your scenic flight you will be given a preflight tour around the aircraft. Your pilot will provide you with a fantastic insight into the plane. This is a chance to get to know the aircraft you will be flying in.
You will discuss with your pilot any particular places you would like to see during your flight. You will then be fitted with all necessary flight equipment before climbing into your seat on the plane! If you have chosen to fly in the Tiger Moth you will be sitting in the front seat with the pilot behind you and if you have chosen to fly in the Chipmunk you will take the back seat.
Once you are comfortable the starter will swing the propeller and your flight begins!
You will be spending 30 magical minutes winging over the magnificent vineyards of the Hunter Valley. This is an experience that you will treasure for life. For the duration of the flight you will use our in-flight communication systems to stay in constant contact with your pilot. Your pilot will point out all of the interesting features of the land below. He will even let you try your hand at flying the plane! Will you take the challenge?
Upon return to the airport you will have the opportunity to have some photos taken of you with the plane. You will also receive a certificate to commemorate your flight. Couple this with some fantastic aerial photos and great memories and you’ll have something to talk about for weeks to come!

Availability & Duration:
Flights are available for bookings seven days a week between sunrise and sunset, excluding Christmas Day. The duration of your flight will be 30 minutes however you will need to allow at least 60 minutes for your experience in total.
Guidelines:
This experience is perfect for anyone who wants to feel the exhilaration of flying and see the beautiful Hunter Valley from a different angle. For this reason, it is almost imperative that you bring your camera! Maximum weight limits apply - please contact us to inquire if you are over 110kg.
Numbers:
The price quoted is for one person. We can do group bookings for up to 10 people. You will be on-on-one with your pilot during your flight.
Weather:
This experience may be affected by the weather. In the case of rain or strong winds we may need to reschedule your experience for a later date.
Extra Info:
You can choose to fly in either a Tiger Moth or a Chipmunk. Please advise us which aircraft you would like to fly in at the time of booking.
