This is your chance to indulge in the very best of food and wine while spending a relaxing day in the Yarra Valley, just outside of Melbourne. You and your partner will begin your day with wine tasting, relax with a spectacular three-course lunch and conclude with a bottle of wine to take home.

This experience is the ultimate two-in-one, the perfect combination of wine tasting and a decadent restaurant lunch as you relax in the surroundings of our renowned restaurant and winery.

Upon arrival you will enjoy wine tasting in our magnificent cellar, which is set on our 150-acre vineyard. We are a renowned for our wines and are now producing wines from 20-year-old vines. Nestled in the trees, our cellar is situated on a mezzanine floor, offering an uninterrupted view of our barrel hall, which is complemented by a warm open fire on cooler days.

Our cellar door manager will give you a wide variety of wines to taste and will be able to answer any questions you have regarding our wines. We have a wonderful selection of pinots, chardonnays and shiraz, just to name a few.

After 15-30 minutes wine tasting you will wander up to the restaurant which is located on top of the hill. You will be able to relax and take in stunning view of the Yarra Valley while you enjoy your three-course meal, which is accompanied by a bottle of wine. The menu is subject to change, although you can expect meals along the lines of Venison – Sweet and sour Y.V. venison (Healesville) meatballs consisting wild rice and leek, served with sautéed mixed capsicum (Coldstream), and fried savoury potatoes (Alexandra) to be available to you. For dessert, the likes of Brulee – 'Kennedy and Wilson' chocolate (Coldstream) and duck egg cream brulee served with chocolate sorbet may entice you. Our dishes are modern and elegant and are made from fresh local ingredients.

Take your time to relax and fully enjoy your meal. The finer things in life should not be rushed. When you finish your meal you will be totally satisfied after being swept away with the spectacular taste sensation that all good food should provide. However your experience is not over yet. Upon departure you will receive a bottle of specially-selected wine for you to take and enjoy later on. It will bring back good memories.

You will need to be 18 years of age or over to be eligible for this experience. There is strictly NO BYO as we are a fully licensed restaurant.

The price quoted is for two people. There will be others dining in the restaurant when you are there.

Session Length:

This experience is available throughout the year from Thursday to Sunday and for seven days a week in December only. We are closed from December 24 through to January 4. Bookings are essential and are subject to availability. Lunch bookings are available from 12noon and may conclude as late as 4pm.
