Follow well defined trails in the Freycinet National Park as you are accompanied by an expert wilderness guide. During the walk, you’ll gain an unbridled appreciation of the Tasmanian natural environment that characterise this spectacular peninsula!

From our cabins in the Freycinet National Park we follow well defined trails in the company of an expert wilderness guide to appreciate the white sandy beaches, secluded bays, granite cliff tops and eucalypt forests that characterise this spectacular peninsula off the east coast of Tasmania.

The trip is expected to follow the following itinerary:

Day 1 – Meet at Launceston, transfer to Coles Bay in the Freycinet National Park and commence day walks,
Day 2 – Day walks,
Day 3 – Complete walks in Freycinet, return to Launceston where the trip concludes.

This 3 day trip includes 2 breakfasts, 3 lunches, 2 dinners, 2 nights basic cabin accommodation (2-4 share), transport by private vehicle, National Park fees, expert wilderness guide, emergency communication equipment and first aid kit and wet weather gear (Goretex jacket and overpants).

Guidelines:

You will be required to complete a medical form before departure, qualifying you in good health to participate. If you are over 70 years of age, participating on a challenging grade adventure, or have a pre-existing medical condition, you are required to have your doctor complete the medical form.

Numbers:

The price quoted is for one person. We operate with a minimum of 4 – 6 people and a maximum of 8 people.

Weather:

Trips are operational unless we encounter extreme adverse weather condition en route, in which case we will vary the itinerary.

Session Length:

This experience is 3 days in duration and departs from Launceston every Wednesday throughout the year. This is an introductory walk and is suitable for people with a reasonable level of fitness.
