Join your dive leader for an extreme snorkelling adventure in the heart of the Gold Coast. Get up close and personal with the resident sharks as you enter their watery domain and interact with the schools of fish that will surround you throughout your shark swimming adventure!

Experience one of the most amazing opportunities to get up close to a stunning reef environment, housing a selection of beautiful tropical fish, rays and other fascinating marine life.

On the day of your shark snorkel, you’ll join a qualified diver for an exciting snorkel adventure, as you get up close and personal with sharks and marine life in the heart of the Gold Coast. Our reef lagoon is where you will take your underwater adventure, swimming with smaller white-tip and black-tip reef sharks. Many colourful tropical fish will be schooling around you as you observe stingrays, which grace the bottom of the lagoon. During your swimming with sharks experience, you’ll follow an educational trail with underwater signage before laying eyes on the larger sharks.

After your swim and brush with the mighty creatures of the sea, you’ll have the opportunity to spend the rest of your day at the park and get above and below the surface to discover a world of fun and adventure! See the beautiful polar bear cubs, Hudson and Nelson as they play in their state-of-the-art home. Take a fun and educational journey into the world of endangered dugong and flip out with the dolphins and maybe even seal a new friendship with a kiss!

Guidelines:

You must be 10 years or older to participate and feel reasonable confident in the water. Some medical conditions may preclude you from participation – please check with us. You will be unable to participate if you have any open cuts or infections or fail to have controlled motor movement.

Numbers:

The price quoted is for one person. There will be approximately 12 other people in the program at the same time. Please note: The price includes the cost of entry into the facility as well as the experience.

Weather:

The supplier may at its sole discretion cancel any animal adventures program if the Marine Sciences staff member is of the opinion that extreme weather or other conditions make it impossible for the program to be held, in which case your booking will be rescheduled for a later date.

Session Length:

We operate 7 days a week, all year round (closed Christmas Day). You will need to make your way to the check-in centre one hour prior to your scheduled booking time. Please allow at least an hour for the program which includes approximately 20 minutes in the water.

Extra Info:

During the experience, you will be accompanied by a dive leader to ensure your safety. You do not have to swim for the full 20 minutes – our facilities are designed with rest areas in mind.

This experience voucher is valid for six months from date of purchase.
