What is the Experience?

Try abseiling, it's a real adventure blast, which introduces you to the vertical world! Enjoy the thrill of climbing down cliffs in the Glasshouse Mountains whilst taking in the pleasant serenity of the area that surrounds you. Beginners are more than welcome.

Abseiling is fun, easy and relaxing - but we agree it's not a natural thing to do! Our instructors are skilled in helping you to become relaxed and familiar with the equipment, safety requirements and safe abseiling techniques.

Each session follows our proven outline of:

safety brief
equipment familiarity
demonstration of techniques (by the instructor)
practice abseils
belay training
as many abseils on the main cliffs as you can fit in.

Abseiling is literally safer than crossing the road. To ensure your safety, we adhere to high safety standards. Also, everyone is 'belayed' (a way of preventing you from falling to the ground) on every abseil.

We guarantee you absolute safety and maximum fun!

Session Length

The Glasshouse trip is a full day out, meeting at the Glasshouse Mountains at 7.45am and finishing at approximately 3.00pm.

We suggest you only purchase a voucher for one of the dates listed above if you plan to redeem your voucher and book the date today.

Guidelines:

You will need to bring lunch and snacks, and 2L of water for the day, ensure these are easy to carry as we will be on the mountain all day. Bring a backpack to carry your personal belongings and allocated abseiling gear.

Numbers:

We operate with a minimum of 3 people on the day. Individual bookings are welcome.

Weather:

Light rain or patchy weather is acceptable for abseiling and does not mean that we will cancel your adventure, but 'set-in' rain or high winds may necessitate that we re-schedule.

Other Info:

Glasshouse Mountain abseiling is available for bookings Monday to Sunday. You must disclose any health conditions or limitations. You will be required to sign a disclaimer on the day.

This experience voucher is valid for six months from date of purchase.
